The "Embarkation" Room
In the spirit of Season 4 episode "2010", this is where all the SG Teams 'embarked' on there missions, otherwise known as the Gate Room. ;) The following is a list of all conventions and other events that members of SG-2 are planning on attending in the near future. At some of these, we may plan to have a fan table or booth, so keep an eye out for us! ... "And we're walking!"

The Briefing Room
In this section, you will see our past events at conventions and such. Kind of like the way things are dealt with in the briefing room on the show, here, we've attempted to do the same and summarize what happened at each event as sort of a log. We try to take as many pictures as possible; however, we only post the pictures pertaining specifically to SG-2 here on this website. All of the images come from a much larger online photo album which can be viewed at www.ImageEvent.com/MerlynNY.
Official Stargate SG-1 Convention E. Rutherford, NJ August 7-8, 2004
The most recent addition to our ever growing list of visited events. This con offered a chance to see six of the great actors from the show all in two days. Although we did not have a fan table this time around, we did manage to present Rachel Luttrell from Stargate Atlantis with an honorary plaque making her the first actor from the spin off series to be inducted into our group! We also participated in the trivia contest and had lots of fun surrounding ourselves with Stargate all weekend.
The following images are just highlights of what took place at the con. You can click on them for a larger view. To see all the pictures taken at Creation Stargate Con please visit Stargate SG-1 Con.

Shore Leave Con Towson, Maryland July 9-11, 2004
Our most successful convention to date! We had a fan table and presented both Teryl Rothery and Michael Welch with honorary membership Plaques. We were also interviewed by the webmaster of City of Angel, participated in the costume contest (and won!), and even had edible food from Thor for the visitors at our fan table! It was a fabulous convention and many of us can't wait until next year to do it all again!

Empire Fan Fest Secaucus, NJ April 17-18, 2004
Another great con by another great group of people! Although there were no Stargate actors in attendance nor much of a Stargate Presence at this con, a few members of SG-2 attended and had a blast all the same. Originally, we were going to have a fan table here, but plans changed last minute. However, we still had a good time and look forward to Empire Fan Fest 2!

Icon Stony Brook, NY March 26-28, 2004
Our second event and twice as successful. This time, we had a shared fan table with the Northeast Remnant Garrison of the 501st Legion. But our table itself, had many improvements with additional flyers, a banner stand, and a laptop demonstrating a Stargate Dialing Program! It definitely attracted attention. Although not many members of SG-2 were able to attend as it is way out in Long Island, the con itelf was quite enjoyable with a dealer's room and plenty of guests. Hopefully Icon 24 will be even more exciting. :)

Farpoint Con Hunt Valley, Maryland February 13-15, 2004
This con marked SG-2's first official event! It only took 5 months for us to get our feet off the ground. LOL. Not much happened here except for a fan table and the sale of an aweful lot of patches. Advertizing ourselves at this con definitely helped improve our membership though. At the next Farpoint; however, we'll be more prepared with a bigger better fantable and much larger attendance.
